Multi-platinum selling UB40 and French reggae superstar Nuttea have both recorded hit versions of songs written by Leonard Dillon (singer, songwriter and founder member of The Ethiopians) and Swedish Ska band Mobster have recorded a dynamic new version of the Pioneers rude boy classic Rudies Are The Greatest for inclusion on their debut album The Knee Jerk Reaction on AMTY Records.

Nuttea's French adaptation of The Ethiopians Open the Gate, Le Blues Du Fugitif is featured on his hit album Un Signe Du Temps on Virgin France Records in 2001, which to-date has sold in excess of 600,000 copies.
